It is normal for your mat to have a slight scent when first opened, for best results unroll or hang your mat for 24-48hrs until the scent disappears. This is a perfectly normal scent with PU material.

How to clean your mat:

For regular cleaning, spray some soapy water and gently wipe over the mat, allow to dry naturally.
For a deeper clean, combine 1 cup lukewarm water with 1 teaspoon of baking soda. Use a microfibre cloth to gently rub over the stain, clean and wipe.

Hang or leave the mat unrolled and let it dry completely before rolling or using.

Avoid soaking - too much water can seep into the base and damage the mat
